Welcome to Surgical Operating Microscopes .Com where you will find our selection of microscopes for use in medical surgery, ophthalmic eye surgery, neurosurgery, as well as ear, nose, and throat surgery. For an ophthalmic eye surgical operating microscope, the angle of inclination if usually 45 degrees. For other surgical microscopes, such as for ENT use, the viewing binocular head is usually straight, not on any angle. Illumination of surgical operating microscopes is usually coaxial, meaning the light is shown from above, but comes from within the microscope head. This provides optimal illumination with minimal glare. We also provide surgical operating microscopes with foot controlled motorizing focusing allowing the surgeon’s hands to be used for the surgery instead of for focusing the image.
